Live & Let Die & Roger Moore

So I am currently working on my biography of Madeline Smith - former Bond girl, model and actress. I had no idea that Roger Moore had kept a diary while making his first Bond film Live and Let Die. What he called B Day's were in fact 'Bond Days' and he numbered each one from the moment he began filming in October 1972 through to the final scenes in January 1973.

Last night I took the train from my local station and headed for Clerkenwell in London, via Farringdon, and took my little paperback copy that I had purchased on eBay with me. The journey takes around about an hour and by the time I had arrived at Farringdon I was already up to page 35 - for me, that's fast reading ! More to follow in my next blog on what I discovered and why it was so fascinating.
